Mt. Yoshino is famous as a famous cherry blossom spot. In spring, about 30,000 cherry trees fill the mountain surface. You can enjoy the scenery that is deeply in full bloom, mainly in the soft color of Shiroyamazakura, and you can enjoy the scenery that penetrates deeply into your heart. Cherry blossoms are densely packed in four locations: Shimo-senbon, Naka-senbon, Kami-senbon, and Oku-senbon, and bloom in order of altitude from Shimo-senbon at the foot, and the best time to see them is long.
The cherry blossoms of Yoshinoyama were engraved on a mountain cherry tree by the actor (Enno Gyoja), the founder of Shugendo, who was able to feel the appearance of Kongo Zao Gongen at the end of the hardships. It begins. Since then, the cherry blossoms have been protected as sacred trees, and the worshipers planted cherry saplings one after another in the mountains with prayer, creating a spectacular view like the present.
