◆Okadera "Okadera" has been called Okadera since ancient times with the friendliness of Okadera. Known as Japan's first evil sanctuary, many prayers come from all over Japan. The main statue, Nyoirin Kannon sitting statue [important cultural property] is Japan's largest statue in the Nara era, and is said to be Japan's three largest Buddhas in Japan.

Abe Bunjuin

Abe Bunjuin

◆Founded in 645, Abe Bunju-in 645, the main god is Monju Bodhisattva, which is famous for "The Megumi of Wenju if Three People Together". It is also designated as a national treasure, with the appearance of Watami Bunju, who crosses the sea of clouds with four side samurai and goes on a preaching trip.

◆Women's Takano Muro-ji Temple It is located in a place where the clear stream flows deep in Mt. Muro-ji Temple, and has long been known as a sacred place for the religion of the water god and the dragon god. In the spring, about 3,000 rhododendrons, fresh greenery in early summer, autumn leaves, and the quiet snow scenery in winter color the precincts and heal the hearts of those who visit in beautiful appearances in each of the four seasons.

◆The Maruyama Tumulus is about 320m long, the sixth largest in Japan and the largest round tumulus in the prefecture. It has long been thought to be a circular tumulus and was named Maruyama, but about 50 years ago it turned out to be a front tumulus.

Imaimachi

Imaimachi

◆There are nine important cultural properties in Imaimachi and three prefecture-designated cultural properties, and you can learn about the history of tea ceremony surrounding Sokyu Imai and the history of tea in Yamato, and the activities of Imai merchants. You can taste "Yamato Imai tea porridge" cooked with firewood using a furnace from a townhouse of an important cultural property.
