Asuka Ruby is a brand strawberry from Nara prefecture made from a combination of Asuka Wave and Memine, which were registered as varieties in 2000. It is called a red gem, and features a large bright and glossy fruit, and a moderate acidity and a fresh mouthfeel.
Asuka Strawberry Picking Park can be enjoyed all-you-can-eat for 30 minutes at 18 strawberry farms in Asuka Village. Every farm is cultivated in a greenhouse, so it is also attractive to be able to pick strawberries while standing regardless of the weather.
