Asukaji Temple

Abe Bunjuin

This temple was founded in 645 AD. One of Japan's three bunju along with Kirito Wenju in Amanohashidate, Kyoto and Kameoka Wenju in Yamagata. There are many worshipers who wish to pass the entrance examination, fulfill their school work, and pray for evil amulet. The main god is the Wenju Bodhisattva, famous for the saying "If you come by three people, the wisdom of Wenju", the largest in Japan (7m), and was erected by Buddhist priest Kaikei in the Kamakura period and 1203.
