The hotel has donated proceeds from the Heartist® Gratitude Week-Harty St Thanksgiving Week held in October 2025 to Kashihara City as part of Heartist® community care activities.
■What is “Heartist®”?
At Accor (Ako), we call our colleagues “Heartist®,” a word created by the interaction of “heart” and “artist”. The meaning is that each person expresses the pure feeling of wanting customers to be happy and the kindness of caring for their peers in their own way, as if they were an artist.
■"Heartist Gratitude Week"
Every year, Accor organizes a Thanks Week for Heartist®, which sends various Heartist® suggestions to customers and local people. In 2025, from September 15 to October 3, 2025, the Heartist® Gratitude Week was called “Harty St Thanksgiving Week” and a week of thanks for all employees working in hotels within the group.
■Initiatives in Grand Mercure Nara Kashihara
The hotel held the Heartist® Restaurant from October 1st to 3 days. Utilizing surplus ingredients that would normally be discarded, we sold "chef special lunch box" to staff.
We donated this proceeds to Kashihara City.
A presentation ceremony was held at Kashihara City Hall on October 14, 2025, and a letter of appreciation was received from Kashihara City.
