Abe Bunjuin

Abe Bunjuin Temple | Grand Mercure Nara Kashihara [Official]

Abe Monjuin is one of the oldest temples in Japan, founded in 645 (645), and the first sacred ground of Japan's Sanmonju, "Nara Prefecture Yamato Abe's Wenju" (Kyoto Prefecture, Amanohashidate Kirito, and Wenju in Oshu Kameoka, Yamagata Prefecture). Many students visit each year to fulfill their academic achievements and pray for success.

The main ancestor is the Wenju Bodhisattva, which is also famous for the proverb of "The wisdom of Wenju", the largest Wenju in Japan built by Kaikei in the Kamakura period, and is about 7m high. All five statues are national treasures of the Tokai Monjugunzo, which represent the appearance of riding a lion and traveling across the sea of clouds over the sea of clouds and traveling on a sermon trip.

On the grounds, there are observation decks that are said to have been observed by Seimei Abe, who was active in the Heian era, as well as tombs from the Asuka era designated as special historic sites of the country, and Shirayamado [important cultural properties] worshiped as god of marriage. In the fall, you can enjoy the "Cosmos Maze" made of cosmos, and the huge flower painting "Jumbo Zodiac Flower Painting", which draws the zodiac with about 8,000 pansies every year from mid-November.
